رَبِّ اشۡرَحۡ لِىۡ صَدۡرِىْ
My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]
Rabbi ishrah lee sadree
وَيَسِّرۡ لِيْٓ اَمۡرِىْ
And ease for me my task
Wayassir lee amree
وَاحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةً مِّنۡ لِّسَانِیْ
And untie the knot from my tongue
Wahlul AAuqdatan min lisanee
يَفۡقَهُوۡا قَوۡلِیْ
That they may understand my speech.
